In this experiment, I adapted my piping technique. Instead of using oil paint to push through the cake nozzles, I made my own piping tool from a glue tube and nozzle shapes mimicking the cake ones, pushing through fine pottery plaster, laying it over objects that can be removed to leave holes and arcs. I looked at Rachel Harris's work due to her incorporation of plinths and the history of plaster to see how plaster is used, what it was made of and to see the differences between its normalised uses and mine.
