The title 'Little Mistakes' refers to the objects that are blobs/splatters, such as the orange object you can see in the image; these are 'failed' tests. However, these objects were interesting due to the way the plaster formed as it hit the floor, similar to that of a paint splatter. My experimentation was focused around piping plaster bigger making new tools to pipe from, seeing how far I could push the size of the objects. As you can see in the image with the orange splatter, the green and white objects have been somewhat successful.

It was interesting to work as a collaboration. Although our works did not conceptually connect their aesthetics, they combined to make an intriguing sculpture display. My objects in this collaboration drew upon different imagery; they acted as mountains, rock forms and landsculptural imagery lending less of a painterly form.

The videos on The Making tab show the two experiments where I tried to pipe these objects, looking at Anton Alvarez's process of pushing wet clay through a hydroelectric machine.
